Yogli Mogli Frozen Yogurt was voted the top spot for frozen yogurt or ice cream by Midtown Patch readers this week. Yogli Mogli, which has two locations in the Midtown Patch coverage area, garnered 48 percent of the vote to outdistance Yoforia, which finished in second with 32 percent of the votes. Yogli Mogli offers 16 frozen yogurt flavors and more than 40 different toppings to choose from. Everything is self-serve, and is priced by the weight, so you get exactly how much of a treat you want at the price that you want. Wrote Patch reader Leanne Murdock Spry, “Yogli Mogli in Atlantic Station is by far the best frozen yogurt.” The Atlantic Station location is at 232 19th Street. Summer’s almost here, but no mater the season, Midtowners love to take a staycation at Piedmont Park. Piedmont Park, which was the winner of this week’s Readers’ Choice poll, is the largest green space in Atlanta and is also one of Midtown's most historic sites. The park features a lake, meadow, dog park and stunning views of Midtown's skyline. Visitors can enjoy a number of recreational activities, including swimming, tennis, volleyball, bocce, baseball, cycling and rollerblading throughout the park's 189 acres. There are multiple areas with grills and benches for picnics, as well as multiple playgrounds for children. Park 75 located in the Four Season Hotel Atlanta was our Readers’ Choice winner this week for best plce to take mum for a Mother’s Day brunch. Chef Robert Gerstenecker, known for his flair in creating contemporary dishes at Park 75 restaurant, uses the finest seasonal ingredients available from the Terrace Garden, Atlanta and around the globe. The concise wine list is primarily American, with a focus on red varieties and many boutique labels. Park 75 finished with 48 percent of the votes followed by Park Tavern (21 percent) and South City Kitchen Midtown (17 percent). By the way, Mother’s Day is May 13, so don’t forget!
