Fast Casual Restaurant Newk’s Eatery Coming to Midtown
Restaurant targeting a spring opening in the former Yes Home space at the Shops at Metropolis.
Newk’s Eatery is coming to Midtown as the Jackson, Miss.-based casual eatery plans to open in the shuttered Yes Home space at the Shops at Metropolis (SAM). A late spring opening date is targeted at 921 Peachtree Street. Real estate firm Jamestown made the announcement Monday via a press release. A neighbor to the recently opened La Tagliatella at Peachtree and 8th streets, Newk’s Eatery is a fast casual concept pioneered by the founders of McAlister’s Deli, a quick service restaurant specializing in hand-crafted sandwiches, spuds and other made-to-order menu items.
