Two Local Businesses Vandalized Early Wednesday
Both Area 4 Salon and Rapid Sign Systems near Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive intersection were vandalized Wednesday morning.
Two businesses in the shopping center located at Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive had their front glass doors smashed in by vandals during the early morning hours on Wednesday. Video taken by 11Alive news cameras shows how the doors were smashed open on both the Area 4 Salon located at 1536 Monroe Dr. and the Rapid Sign Systems business located at 1531 Piedmont Avenue. The Atlanta Police Department was unable to confirm if any items were stolen from the business, but the openings were large enough for suspects to get inside of each of these locations, according to Officer Kim Jones.
