Remainder of Ponce de Leon Ave readies for two-way traffic
Beginning next week, Ponce between Spring and Peachtree streets in south Midtown will be permanently converted to two-way traffic.
Construction on the South Midtown Pedestrian and Circulation Improvements Project is in its final phases as crews work towards completion around the end of this year. And in less than a week, the one-way portion of Ponce de Leon Avenue between Spring and Peachtree streets will be permanently converted to two-way traffic. It currently serves one-way traffic traveling west two blocks from the Fox Theatre to where it dead ends near The Varisty. On Monday, December 10, drivers will be able to turn left off of Spring, or right off of West Peachtree Street to travel east on Ponce de Leon towards Peachtree.
