Jazz Trumpeter Marsalis Coming Feb. 22
Joined by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis will perform new arrangements of Chick Corea and music from the new album "Vitoria Suite."
Legendary trumpeter Wynton Marsalis will play selections of his new blues-flamenco composition, "Vitoria Suite," when he stops in Atlanta in two weeks with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. The concert is Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall, the Woodruff Arts Center announced Monday. Tickets cost $38.85 to $102.95 and are available at Ticketmaster by calling 404-733-5000 or in person at the Atlanta Symphony Hall box office, 1280 Peachtree St. Marsalis' concert is one of several special events in Symphony Hall this season, including Joan Rivers in March.
