Police Release Sketch of VaHi Home Intruder
This is a sketch of the man who reportedly entered a Virginia-Highland home on Thursday morning and tried to snatch a 12-year-old girl.
The Atlanta Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man suspected of following a 12-year-old child into her Virginia-Highland home and trying to entice her to go upstairs with him. Police say the child screamed and resisted, causing the man to flee in a gold-colored sedan, possibly similar in size and style to a Prius. Residents are asked to be on the lookout for anyone acting suspiciously and to call 911 to report questionable activity immediately. Police ask that anyone with information on this suspect contact the Atlanta Police Special Victims Unit at 404-546-4260 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
