Second Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting on Ponce de Leon

Graham Sisk was gunned down in his car at the corner of Ponce de Leon and Moreland in October.

Atlanta police have arrested a 51-year-old man in the brazen daylight killing of a man in his vehicle this past fall, according to a news release. Denorris Turner was arrested Monday and charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault and Criminal Attempt in the killing of Graham Sisk, 23.  The Atlanta Police Department said Turner was transported to the DeKalb County Jail, where he was being held Monday night. Turner is the second man to be arrested in the crime. In November, police arrested Shaheed K. Huff, 30, in Lithonia and charged him with felony murder and aggravated assault with a weapon. Sisk was killed Oct. 5 in the afternoon shooting at the busy intersection, shocking many in the Virginia-Highland/Druid Hills and nearby Midtown …

Man Killed in Friday Afternoon Shooting at Ponce and Moreland

Atlanta police are looking for two or more vehicles that were apparently involved in the fatal incident.

  A man was shot to death at the intersection of Ponce de Leon and Moreland Avenue on Friday afternoon, and police are searching for suspects. The Atlanta Police Department says that a man was apparently shot multiple times while sitting in his car at the intersection around 4 p.m. According to an APD news release, the victim was traveling northbound on Moreland Ave approaching Ponce De Leon when "suspects approached him and fired multiple times. The victim's vehicle then continued through the intersection coming to rest on the north east corner. It appears that there may be two suspect vehicles and multiple suspects involved."
