ReplyI was just informed by the chef that the butter was sprinkled with smoked sea salt and not sesame seeds. Also, the quail was prepared with pancetta, not lardons and it was a creamy white polenta and not pommes puree. I apologize for the mistakes.

ReplyHi Celeste,
Thank you for your note! Right after I posted the review one of my friends in NYC told me that she had once driven through a blizzard just to eat here! While I can not stop raving about the food, I don't think that I would ever risk bodily harm or even death for any restaurant-HA! Have a wonderful weekend! -cp

Hi Lorraine,
I just called Wimpy's and they are still open. Maybe they were changing the menu or cleaning the sign? Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you get to try their fantastic burgers another time though!

Hi Virginia,
Thanks for your note! The menu is quite extensive and I might just have missed the Kids' Menu...Do you remember where the Kids' menu is relative to the rest of the menu (so we can alert our readers)? Or is there an entirely separate one? Again, thanks for your feedback.

What an amazing house! I lived in Chicago for 6 years so I got to see many examples of Wright's work and even took a trip to see Fallingwater with my cousin and two of her architect friends. Every thing he designed is remarkable. If I had an extra 429 grand lying around, I would buy that house in a heartbeat!
