On the Blog Post The Greatest Country on Earth!? Not really.

Bulldogger,
Of course I love my country. Which is precisely why I believe people would want to know this information. The title was not a statement. It was simply meant to arouse interest and captivate an audience that would want to know where America ranks compared to other industrialized nations when it comes to health. It is no reflection of my opinion of this country. I was simply reporting the statistics as reported by the Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council, January 2013. My apologies if you took offense to the title of my post. -

Thanks Lisa. Yoga is great and I am a huge advocate. It is such a natural complement to what I do. I am always looking for partners in health.
Check out my website sometime www.DecaturChiro.com and I will be in touch. -

ReplyYes JM. This would be walking targeted for the purpose of physical activity. It would be for a consistent period at a brisk pace such as dedicating 15-30 minutes to this one particular activity versus walking at intervals throughout the normal routine of your day.

ReplyA conglomeration of health & wellness practitioners. How great would it be to have your chiropractor, acupuncturist and massage therapist right next to where you work out?

Of course there is more to it. There is always more to it. There is never one single cause of anything. Science give us insights and often times more questions. I am just passing along information.
This particular study in fact found a correlation between high levels of carnitine, found in red meat, and CVD. "Plasma L-carnitine levels in subjects undergoing cardiac evaluation (n = 2,595) predicted increased risks for both prevalent cardiovascular disease (CVD) and incident major adverse cardiac events (myocardial infarction, stroke or death), but only among subjects with concurrently high TMAO levels."
Look, every person is responsible for their own health. Information allows them to make the decisions they want. That is why I share.
Not sure what your "beef" with my post really is :)
