ReplyLuckily, you're not in the majority with your thinking. It will never happen, not to mention "Federal Law Enforcement" is a joke. Like the Federal Law Enforcement that sent guns to Mexico, to kill our own border agents?

ReplyRoger That, for some unknown reason, has taken firearms training at every one of the Metro Atlanta gun ranges. Seems reasonable.

Oops, it appears people are learning gun safety at ranges all over the country!
When I was helping build the firing range for APD, they were teaching gun safety there too!
They should do away with those classes at firing ranges! That is no place to learn anything!

'Roger That' Would you prefer to be rescued by a fireman with practical training, or one with only classroom training? Would you pick a surgeon to operate on you that only had classroom training, and no residency program or in the field training? How about a police officer? Do you want them using their firearms with only classroom training? Any reasonable person knows your comment is a bit silly. Deep down, you know it too. Attacking me just shows a weakness in your glib statement above.

'Roger That' makes a very ignorant comment. Anyone that's done any serious training knows that the range is key. Things are different in the classroom. That's why you can't learn most real physical skills sitting at a desk.

Patrick, the moment you said "Armour piercing bullets" we all knew you had no idea what you're talking about.
The military uses the term “armor piercing” to refer to rounds capable of penetrating armored vehicles. The gun grabbers picked up on this terminology to describe a bullet made of hardened metals that can penetrate a soft body armor vest made of kevlar. The manufacture, import and sale of handgun bullets made of hardened brass, steel or any other alloy has been prohibited since 1986.
