Pic of the Day: Disney Celebrates with Cool Girls and Piedmont Park Conservancy

Today, Disney On Ice visited Atlanta on their journey to celebrate good health with the local community! 

This afternoon Mickey Mouse visited the nonprofit arm of Piedmont Park, Piedmont Park Conservancy, where he “Celebrated a Healthy Me” with Cool Girls Inc., members of the conservancy and Megan McCarthy, chef for the conservancy’s Healthy Eating Program. Megan gave a cooking presentation to the party guests, while speaking on the importance of healthy food choices and being the healthiest version of you!

Earlier in the morning, for National ER Nurses Day, Disney surprised 55 Grady Hospital ER nurses with vouchers to this week’s show, “Let’s Celebrate!.” Crystal Drake, regional public relations manager for Feld Entertainment, presented the large voucher to a group of nurses in appreciation for their hard work and dedication to keeping the Atlanta community healthy!
