Construction of the Atlanta Buddhist Culture Center Begins to Take Shape

Martin Bugajski and his ImmovableMedia were back in the streets this past week looking at the progress of building projects throughout the City of Atlanta and beyond.  Today Martin gives us a look at how the Atlanta Buddhist Culture Center is taking shape in the Atlantic Station area.

The following was written by Martin on his YouTube Page that has dozens of construction projects listed:

Silverman CPM was selected to represent Soka Gakkai International-USA and manage the design and construction of their new Atlanta Buddhist Culture Center located on approximately 1.3 acre site within the Atlantic Station development on Village Street between 16th and 18th Streets.

This new 13,000 square foot facility, which will include a new worship center, exhibit space and the organization's Atlanta offices, is set to begin construction the early part of 2013.

Total project budget is $4.5 million. Soka Gakkai has more than 12 million members including about 3,500 in Atlanta.
