Got Paper? Midtown's U.S. Bank Hosts Free Shredding Event, Oct. 24

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Service in Atlanta is participating in National Protect Your Identity Week (PYIW) by hosting the free event

To celebrate the ever so popular, National Protect Your Identity Week, U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Service in Atlanta is hosting a free shredding event from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24.

There is a limit of 10 boxes per customer, and according to a written release, all items will be shredded onsite.  "Anything made of paper will be shredded."

The shredding event will take place in the loading dock area at U.S. Bank’s location at 1349 W. Peachtree St., Atlanta, 30309. Anything made of paper will be shredded. In addition to documents, individuals may bring files (without removing fasteners, clips and rubber bands) and soft and hard covered books.

If you're loaded with paper clutter but apprehensive to throw it out in the trash, this is the perfect opportunity to take loads of paper and dispose of it safely and for free.

“The U.S. Bank team in Atlanta wants to do what it can to help consumers protect themselves from identity theft. Anyone who wants to take part in the shredding event is welcome. All they need to do is bring the items they want shredded to our designated location,” said Emily Katt, a senior vice president for U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services.
