On Saturday, June 28th, Worthmore collaborated with famed watchmaker, Shinola, to throw a rockin’ party in the heart of Atlanta. The Made in America Bash, held at our location in Amsterdam Walk, offered the largest selection of Shinola products in the country, outside of Shinola's flagship store in Detroit. Even better, all proceeds from our raffle, plus 10 percent of any other purchases, benefitted one of our favorite local organizations, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
We had an incredible time this Saturday and hope all of our attendees did too. Here’s a little recap, in case you missed the event!
10 a.m. The party got started early with some delicious treats and goodies. Danishes, Bellinis, and fresh coffee gave us the boost of energy we needed to get the Made in America Bash rollin’. Harris' daughter, Molli, directed traffic to the event.
11 a.m. Face painting attracted both the young and the old! Among the party guests were the members of the Highland Martial Arts karate group. They gave us an incredible demo of the martial arts moves they've been working on.
Lunchtime. People who claim there’s no such thing as a free lunch have clearly never been to a Worthmore party. Hottie Hawg's, best known for their appearance on Lifetime's Catering Wars, parked their food truck right outside Worthmore and gave out free BBQ lunches to the first 100 guests to arrive!
1 p.m. After everyone got their fill on some BBQ, DJ Markotic arrived to get everyone dancing to his special Motown beats. Maybe it was the Bellini’s, but everyone seemed to be feeling pretty good at this point.
3 p.m. After all that dancing, guests cooled off inside and checked out Shinola's stunning collection. Each purchase came with complimentary leather embossing to top off your truly unique item.
4 p.m. Raffle time! We gave away several Worthmore gift cards to a few lucky winners. We even raffled off an item signed by Denzel Washington, the spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
