Benefit Yappy Hour for You and Your Dog at Mexcailito’s, Exercise Shelter dogs at Piedmont Park and Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week

Looking to have some fun this weekend with your dog while helping animals?  Then join us for Yappy Hour this Saturday, July 19, at Mezcalito's Cocina & Tequila Bar in Grant Park!  For your dogs, there will be treats provided by Intown Healthy Hound and LickALots frozen treats.  And for you, there will be wine tastings and other drink specials!   Part of the proceeds will benefit the homeless animals at LifeLine Animal Project.  See you there!

If you’d like to help the shelter dogs of Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) get some exercise this weekend and possibly get adopted, then join us at Piedmont Park every Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for ‘Tails on the Trails’.  During this weekly mobile adoption event, volunteers will be assigned to a specific dog, and their focus will be to introduce interested people to their assigned dog, and to have fun! If you would like to participate or have any questions, email us at  volunteer@fultonanimalservices.com for more info.

Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week:  Stella, Nathan, Easy and Conrad

Precious Stella came into the shelter as a stray in May and has been such a wonderful girl!  This two-year-old lab mix gets along great with other dogs and is incredibly sweet.  Stella’s favorite things to do are to lay in your lap and give you tons of love.  She weighs 43 lbs. and is already spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines, so she can go home today!  If you are looking for the most amazing love bug, then pick Stella!. And during July, her adoption fee is only $30 under the shelter’s 'Celebrate Their Independence Day' promotion!

Easy is a lovely one-year-old female kitty who has a gentle and loving spirit.  She enjoys playing with cat toys, sitting on visitors’ laps and observing everything that is going on in the cat colony room. She will make a fantastic companion.
