There has been an uptick in gang activity in Atlanta.  The members are between the ages of 14-21, black males. The hub of the activity is Southwest Atlanta. Their MO is to steal a car, split up and hit several communities at once.  There were 8 armed robberies the night that our resident was robbed.

Since the Final Four, there has been an uptick in crime.  People have found Atlanta and our in town neighborhoods.

We need lights in the Rock Garden of Winn Park. Captain Smith is setting up a meeting June 17 or 19 to look at the lighting situation.

Sergeant Paul Poole will give me a list of street lights that are out. We do this 4 times during the year.  If you have a street light that is out or you know of a dark spot, email harmonjane126@gmail.com. I will compile a list for Captain Smith to work on.

Check the lights around your house and add ones that will keep the bad guys away.  They do not like to work in the light. Install fake cameras on your property.

If you have a web cam at your house, email me, and I will give that list to the officers so that they can call you if they need information for a crime that has been committed.

If you call the Security Patrol, leave a message. If no one responds, either email me or call me at 404-892-2491, and I will let Sergeant Poole know.

Captain Smith has already contacted the city about putting a camera at the corner of Lafayette and Peachtree that will be monitored by the city. This looks promising.

Keep feeding me your thoughts.  Thank you again for attending and coming up with ideas.
